For Spring Break we went to Washington, DC to see Gammie and GrandDad! The boys had so much fun, and really got a kick out of riding the elevators and that there was a grocery store in Gammie and GrandDad's garage! Yeah, it's the little things in life! :)
There are tons more pictures than what is here, but it would take me days to post all of them.
First was the train trip there...beyond excited!
After we got there, and mom and dad got a nap, we went to Gravelly Point to watch the airplanes take off and land.
At GrandDad's office...Wyatt Earp looks a lot like US!
Future U.S. Marshals!
Various shots from the mall.
Pretty good for working with two 4-year-olds, if you ask me!
Mom and Dad went to Ford's Theatre...pretty neat! Didn't get to go in the house they took him to (across the street), because it was under renovation. Next time, though!
The gun that killed Lincoln.
A shot of inside the theater which is still used today. Over to the right is the presidential box where Lincoln was shot.
The Merry-go-Round at the mall!
The National Zoo!
Trying to stand like flamingos!
Gammie found a cocoa tree that she wanted to take home with her!
Air and Space Museum
Natural History Museum
The Hope Diamond...it's on my wish list! :)
You got gum-gum?
Mommy's favorite stop! Georgetown Cupcake!
Headed home!
